The Jenson Family
I met my wife, Lora, at Moorhead State. We married in 1981. We have three children and numerous pets. My oldest child is Matthew. Everyone except his mother calls him Matt. He was born in a blizzard. My second child was my first daughter. Her name is Lauren. She was born in a blizzard. My third child Emily was born just before Halloween, in Mason City, Iowa. Thank God, no blizzard. We call Emily our only Iowegian.
Lora is currently the Director of Food Service for a school district. I couldn’t be more proud of her. She has over 20 employees under her. She is in her fifth year there.
Matt is majoring in chemistry and is in his third year of college. Lauren is majoring in mathematics and education. She is on the accelerated program and is already finishing her second year.
Emily is my youngest. She was born in Mason City, Iowa at Mercy Hospital. All my children were required to be in sports and music. Besides her academics, Emily is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, martial arts (karate) and band. Emily and I take martial arts together.
