Needed to know the difference of basic right and wrong. Knowing that you do not break the law to enforce the law.

Needed to support the efforts of crime prevention and criminal apprehension. Knowing we are there for them and they will provide support to us.

Needed to protect the Deputy and citizens. Knowing that the tactics and methodology of proper policing protects us and the citizens we serve.

Opportunity
Needed in the changing times of law enforcement. Knowing that opportunities taken must lead to the betterment of society. Taking care of the small crimes before they escalate into bigger crimes.

Professionalism
Needed to enlist the support of the communities we serve, knowing that a lack of professionalism reflects upon us all.

Respect
Needed to be given so that it may be returned. Knowing that respect is earned and can not be demanded.

Integrity
Needed to equally apply the laws of the land in a fair and consistent manner. Knowing that your word is your bond and once broken it is not easily repaired.

Dedication

Needed to help us stay focused on our duties and responsibilities, knowing that we did our best and we can hold our heads high each night.

Excellence
Needed to motivate us to improve our knowledge and tactics, knowing that excellence in appearance, tactics and demeanor contributes to our standing in the community.

Back to basics in our daily duties, including building business relationships, community relationships and inter-agency relationships.

All members are accountable to the citizens and are responsible for their own demeanor, judgment, and professionalism. Proper policy and procedures must be in place and all employees must receive continuing training in order to provide accountability to the citizens we serve.

Management and supervision will lead by example. This new acronym will help all employees work for the betterment of themselves and the communities served.
